Object AW13 Part 2

After the Autumn Collection, Object also created a Winter Collection. And it's fab' as always! Plain shirts, skirts with geometric prints, warm sweaters, leather, ... Anything you need for the winter, they have it all.I know this sounds like a salestalk, but I can't help it. When I like, I show. When I don't like, I just don't talk about it. Unless it's a review, then I would tell you my negative experience. I should do a review sometime. But I'm wandering off. No seriously, Object is really the brand for the not so chique type of girl, it's for the 'I wake up and just throw something on because it fits nicely and I feel good in it' type of girl.

Press Days SS14

Yes, press days! The moment where bloggers and press can get a little look at what is coming for next season. Looking at summer clothes on cold autumn days just makes you wish winter would come and pass as soon as possible. There were some really cute dresses I would absolutely love to wear! I wanted to take home complete racks of clothes, so gorgeous! Oh well, guess I'll have to wait and dream for some months. Here are a few sneak peeks, you can find a lot more on Facebook!

Poppy for Vero Moda

Poppy Delevingne, the London Metropolitan University and Vero Moda are the key ingedrients for this Autumn collection. As Autumn has really kicked in, it's time to define what it's going to be like. Vero Moda chose for feminine and versatile with attention-grabbing details. So if you want a classic pair of black trousers with a nice detail, like a silk ribbon along your leg, Vero Moda is the place to be!

Pieces Winter 2013

It's getting a lot colder outside. Rain replaces the sun, big grey clouds replace the blue sky. It's definetely autumn and winter is just behind the corner. Pieces lets you choose between a warm or a cool look.

For the warm look, they work with gold, soft pink and sequins. For the cool look you can choose for electric blue, black and grey. As winter is a very cool season, you can either adapt with the cool look or rebel by choosing for the warm look. Defeat winter by looking warm and cosy. Or just stay inside with hot coco and a snuggly blanket, that's what I would prefer to do.

Hailey Caulson for Only FW13

It's been a while again since I wrote an article, I've kinda had busy weeks visiting my (future) family-in-law and first weeks of school, readapting to the early schedule. But I am going to do my best to keep up with all the e-mails I get with fantastic collections of the different brands. There are some really cool things coming up, so stay tuned!

A new season, a new face for Only! With Hailey Caulson, the American model, the brand stresses it's international format. They focussed on trends and key items, aka sweaters, jeans and shirts. Also, the parka is back - has been for a little while now - and Only couldn't stay behind, so you'll find that as well in stores.

Last thing I would like to say: I think Hailey Caulson has an interesting face that goes very well with the brand.

Junarose AW13

Junarose is a label for the more curvy women, from size 45 till 54. This collection includes everything so that you can buy it all and don't have to look for it all over town. Regular jeans or jeans in a little color to funk up your outfit, basics, black skirts but they also have more specific items like leather pants - which I've always wanted, haha.

This fall and winter you can dress yourself in different styles: romantic, feminine or edgy, Junarose has it all. The brand also follows the most important trends of the season: studs, lace, etc. I mean, it's not cause you're curvy that you can't be fashionable!

VILA Autumn Express 2013

I always saw VILA as a superfancy brand, but this Autumn Express collection has a more sporty look. Sporty, but still fancy, just the way I like it. I've always been the comfy-style girl - nothing special there and one of the reasons I don't take outfitpics, haha - and this comfy looking luxurious style is absolutely made for me. 

VILA describes the collection as a dark, luxurious sporty style with an edgy twist and a seductive sensual look. That's the most perfect description I've ever heard/read and I don't have much to add. Except that I would love to have it in my - already full - closet.

Object FW13

Object is still one of my favorite brands and they never let me down. As the weather is getting colder, the sun is coming up later and setting sooner and dissappears behind grey clouds, I find myself letting my colorful clothes hang in my closet. Darker colors already seem more appropriate than summer colors. On one hand, I kinda don't like it, as I hate cold, but on the other hand, I don't mind because I bought al these new clothes that are more fall/winter appropriate. And when I saw Object's new collection, I didn't mind at all!

Black and grey are it, with some dark green or an old pink fluffy sweater. Combine the soft fluffy sweater with a dark legging and that's what Object is about: edgy, toughlooking, but still feminine.

Pieces Autumn Selection 2013

Although it's June, we can't really say we have a summer feeling. With maybe a week of sunshine the last 5 months and a very gray day, autumn isn't far away. Pieces already offers us a little peak at what's coming with some original shots. Caps, gloves, scarfs, tights and bags, all essential accesories to look absolutely gorgeous this autumn. I can't wait to spend this summer's salary!

Antwerp Press Days AW13

Hey guys, I know it's been a while. I've been busy as hell with school, you know, making magazines and stuff. I did manage to make a quick visit to the next big city, Antwerp. This year I've kept it calm and visited just two bureaus, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Fresh drinks, mocktails named after brands, a little sun and a comfy chair. I enjoyed every last bit of it.

Object Winter 2012

It's almost Spring but still so cold! And although I'm not such a fan of winter, I still crave for Object's winter collection. It has this edgy look I adore and would love to buy some time. Unfortunately, I am being kinda broke. Now, without any further blabber, picture time!

Press Days SS13 Antwerp

A few weeks ago we were invited to enjoy the press days again. As usual, Antwerp is first to invite us so of we went!

We were welcomed very friendly with drinks and fingerfoods. Had a little chat with fellow bloggers and loved the clothes, shoes and accesories. I could do this all day, but unfortunately there are other obligations - school for instance. I have no more words to hold you, here are some sneak peeks from the Antwerp Press Days.

Press Days: Bestseller AW12

Next in line was Bestseller's AW12, which was in this special building. It had this old and fancy atmosphere, it was pretty cool. Also, we could enter a contest where we had to take an original picture on a bike. The picture was taken by the people from Bestseller and I don't like the one I have, so you won't see it. But I will explain to you what I did and then you just have to use your imagination: the bike was a very bright orange lowrider and the saddle had a backrest, so I decided to get on the bike backwards. I did put my feet on the pedals and held the handlebars, which made it quite difficult to keep my balance, but I managed to stay long enough for the picture!
